Local Web / API

Enable the read-only dashboard on this computer.

The local web interface is disabled by default. Enable local read-only dashboard and REST API, choose a port, and press Apply.

The default address is http://127.0.0.1:8787. Supported Settings ports are 1024–65535. Apply starts or stops the listener immediately; changing the port replaces it. If the requested port is occupied, Pngr reports the error and keeps the previous listener and saved settings.

Choose Apply & open local dashboard controls…, then Open dashboard to launch a browser. The dashboard displays targets, per-hop measurements, historical graphs, and saved sessions. Its Earlier, Later, and Live controls navigate the selected history range.

The listener binds only to IPv4 loopback and closes when Pngr exits. It has no authentication token and is intended for local read-only use. It is unavailable to other computers and does not control monitoring.

See Local API reference for endpoints, parameters, and examples.
