Pngr
Settings

General

Restore your workspace and locate Pngr’s local files.

Restore targets at startup

Restore monitored targets and paused states at startup is enabled by default. Pngr restores the workspace's monitored targets, groups, per-target probe options, and paused states. Disable it to start without automatically restoring monitored targets.

Open Apply & manage workspaces… for configuration import, export, and data maintenance.

Local files

General displays the actual data directory. Pngr uses workspace.json for preferences and workspace configuration, and tracescope.db for SQLite measurements. The legacy TraceScope folder and database name are retained for compatibility.

macOS~/Library/Application Support/TraceScope
Windows%LOCALAPPDATA%\TraceScope

A development checkout can use artifacts/data; the --data-dir launch argument overrides the directory. Use the path displayed in Settings when locating your own files.

Keep Pngr open

Monitoring, history writes, alerts, and the optional local API run in the desktop process. Closing Pngr stops them; there is no separate background monitoring service.
