Graph colors, scaling, time range, and overlays.
Display preferences affect the integrated hop plot and historical timeline.
| Setting | Default | Behavior |
|---|---|---|
| Warning latency | 100 ms | Lower latency color boundary; must be below critical |
| Critical latency | 200 ms | Must exceed warning; maximum 60000 ms |
| Graph maximum | 0 | 0 uses automatic scaling; fixed values are 1–60000 ms |
| Default time range | 10 minutes | 1, 5, 10, 15 minutes; 1 or 6 hours; 1 day or 1 week |
| Show jitter graph | On | Shows timeline jitter |
| Show packet-loss bars and scale | On | Shows diagnostic response loss in plot/timeline |
| Show alert, recovery and route-change markers | On | Shows stored event markers on the timeline |
Warning latency must be at least 1 ms. These visual thresholds do not create alert rules or change their thresholds. Configure those separately in Alert rules and recovery.
Changing the default time range selects that range in the main graph. Hiding a graph overlay does not disable collection of the underlying measurements.
